I Feel Marvelous!

I have had the privilege of delivering seven babies into the world, with each baby being different from day one to the end of the pregnancy, creating a unique individual. There are so many topics of discussion one can talk about, from the beginning, day number one, the point of conception, until the point where the afterbirth is finally released from your body. The topic I am going to concentrate on is the symptoms of pregnancy.

I have never bought a pregnancy kit to find out if I was pregnant. I knew in all my pregnancies I was pregnant, except my last pregnancy. Even then, I did not buy a pregnancy kit. I did not think I was pregnant.

Some of the symptoms I acquired were: 1. I had morning sickness. I did not experience morning sickness with all my pregnancies. I did with my first. Being my first baby, I had morning sickness about three times between the second and third month of pregnancy. I did not have morning sickness with my second, third, or fourth, babies because they were very close together in age. There was about ten years difference between my fourth and fifth baby. I experience a huge amount of morning sickness with my fifth pregnancy. As a matter of fact, I was sick for about five to six months. I had lost weight because I was throwing up the little food I did eat. I had morning sickness once for my sixth pregnancy, and none for the last pregnancy; 2. This next symptom was evident in all my pregnancies. I wanted to sleep more than I usually do. I had the case of the sleepies. I was in the bed by nine o'clock p.m. every night, especially when I had to go to school, work, or whatever the occasion may call for. I would sleep very well, too; 3. Frequent urination occurred in all my pregnancies. When I had to go to the restroom, I had to go. It was no holding it!; 4. Some women I know complain about being fussy, etc., but I did not experience this sign. I always felt it was a miracle to be able to bring healthy children in the world, no matter what the father situation was. Just think about the beginning where the sperm and the egg meet to the final product of a beautiful boy or girl, twins, whatever God blessed you with. Because I did not have this symptom, all my babies were good babies after birth except my first. They only cried when necessary, and were so pleasant, loving, etc. My first child was my miracle baby;
5. You develop cravings while pregnant. Each cravings were different for each child; 6. Some of the discomforts of pregnancy are the feet might swell, varicose veins, and stretch marks. I was very blessed in this area; and 7. One of the great benefits of pregnancy is your hair and nails grow to be very beautiful and long.

These were the main symptoms that can be experienced during pregnancy. I knew right away I was pregnant. There was no guess work for me, except for my last pregnancy. I hope this helps you out in figuring out if you are pregnancy or not and what you need to do to give birth to a happy, healthy baby.
