How to Eliminate Silverfish

Have no fear there are safe ways to eliminate silverfish in your home.
Silverfish are small, noctural wingless insects about 1/2 inch long and they eat almost anything.
Fabric, wallpaper glue, bookbinding, your favorite photos mean nothing to the Silverfish.
You could be having breakfast with them, they love flour, sugar and breakfast cereals.
So now I always make sure the boxes are tightly closed and I still cringe a little every time I open the cereal.
Silverfish like damp cool places to reside in, such as your basement, bathtubs, sinks, laundry room, under the refrigerator and where ever there is standing water.
It's Time To Clean To effectively elminate Silverfish, the first step is cleaning, especially around the areas that are damp and humid, such as the bathroom, kitchen and basement.
Remove all old newspapers and books and your don't forget those magazines!You can also keep your books in an air tight bag.
Eliminate any standing water in your home, check for leaky pipes.
Chaulk any open areas around your tub and sinks.
You can also use a dehumidifer or fan.
If you have an exhaust fan in the bathroom, use it after your shower.
Borax and swimming pool filter earth, diometric earth, may be the best way to eliminate silverfish in your home.
Both are safe for humans and pets and also protects your home from silverfish infestation.
Sprinkle dust in and around bathtubs, sinks, hot water heaters.
Also sprinkle some dust in any cracks and crevices and inside floor molding that you find.
This very simple method can rid you of silverfish forever.
