You may have come across the spectacular claims that someone is making hundreds of dollars a day online.
Is this real money? Are they being upfront and honest with you? I've been educating myself about internet marketing for a few years now and here's what you need to know about how people go about making so much money.

They spend hundreds of dollars on traffic but wont reveal how much they spend to make a profit.
Let's say someone spent $500 on PPC traffic buying AdWords or search marketing traffic and they make $700 back in total, they would have only pocketed $200.
But you won't hear this from most internet marketers.
They will brag about making $700 while not revealing to you they had to spend $500 out of their own pocket.

They were already established as an internet marketer.
In reality, most of these guys have been online for years and have wasted hundreds if not thousands of their own money trying to figure it all it.
You don't want to be left with a hole in your pocket because you're suckered into trying and buying everything that looks like it has bells and whistles on it.
Do your research before you make the decision to lay hundreds on the table.

They had a huge mailing list.
If you're new, you may not know about email marketing and the power it has to create instant revenue WHEN you have a huge list.
Most of these guys have been building their list for months if not years and most have well over hundreds of people to sell to.
My hugest recommendation for email autoresponder is Aweber.
Google them.
Most of the highly successful marketers use them and they will let you try it for $1 for 30 days.
The important thing you need to know if you want to start making money online is to have a strategy.
You need a team of people behind you and a great mentor.
You also need to know that making it online has a learning curve to it.
If you are serious about making good money, spend an hour each day reading all you can about internet marketing.
Most people think it's the product first but you really, you must know about marketing.
Give yourself the 80/20 rule.
Spend 80% of your time learning about marketing and 20% of your time learning everything else.
Without having the insider knowledge, you'll be dazed and want to throw a rock at your computer.
Most people give up because they are trying to crack the code while many "gurus" won't tell the the truth about how to really make money online.
