Clear the clutter: The first step of cleaning the office should be disposing the waste and cleaning the clutter. Make sure that you gather all the papers, files, and important belongings in the office and divide them on the basis of the importance. Throw away all the less important or unimportant files to a trash bag and keep important files in the storage space. This will help you de-clutter your office and make it look fresh and tidy.

Clean and organize the cabinet: Remove all the files and papers from the cabinet and clean it by using a vacuum cleaner. Dust off the files and papers as well and keep them back on the cabinet. Make sure that you label the files with initials and keep them in organized manner so as to easily find them during emergency.

- If you have glossy wood veneers office desks, clean them with a non-silicon furniture polish or mild soapy water. Do not use wax or any kind of abrasive to clean the furniture.
- If you have laminated office desks, then window-cleaner or non-silicon furniture polish would be the ideal to clean them.
- Vinyl office furniture should be cleaned by wiping off with a damp piece of cloth or sponge.

Once a month, remove all the office accessories from desk tops or table surfaces and clean them by using good respective cleaning agent. Simply dust the work surfaces on a weekly basis and move only those things that are easy to move. Wipe down the office chair with leather wipes and dust the legs and feet.

Electronics: Computers and other electronics comprise a good portion of our office configurations, and since they are used so frequently, often become the dustiest items in the room, Wipe computer screen gently with a soft piece of microfiber cloth.
