  As the continent of Europe is basically a peninsula off of the larger landmass of Asia and just to the north of Africa, it proves a bit challenging to take a road to the continent of Europe itself. However, you can get specific access to the continent by roads, allowing road-tripping Marco Polos to plan a vacation by cars.
  
  

Israel to Europe

• Israel is technically in the continent of Asia but is just a short road trip away from technically being in the continent of Europe, as Turkey is part of the European Union of countries. This trip may be difficult due to the countries which travelers from Israel must past through, like Lebanon and Syria, who often have travel restrictions placed on them by foreign governments. The coastline along the Mediterranean in these countries allows for a scenic, peaceful ride. Travel on through Turkey, through Constantinople and on into Greece and the countries along the Mediterranean or North into Bulgaria and the rest of Eastern Europe.
  
  

Africa to Spain

• Drive a car from anywhere in the continent of Africa north to Spain by going to Morocco first. Two autonomous Spanish towns along the Mediterranean coast have customs checkpoints which will allow you to enter with the proper paperwork and identification. From there, you will be transported in your car on a ferry which goes between the two countries by the rock of Gibraltar and on into Spain. Once in Spain you can explore the country in a number of different directions, heading west to Portugal or west up the coast to the Costa Brava, past Barcelona and up into southern France.
  
  

Russian Road Trip

• Driving nearly half way around the world is no easy feat, but a road trip from one end of Russia to the other is basically that. Adventurers can drive from the Northern Pacific by the Korean Peninsula all the way across the heartland of Russia, over the Ural Mountains and continental divide and into what is technically Europe. Moscow, the country's capital, is also the city with the highest population on the continent. Moscow is basically the gateway to the European continent when traveling from much of Asia by car. This trip will be relatively long but you will be able to explore the largest nation in the world.
