Therefore, you should direct your efforts with a goal in mind, and employ the right strategies that will allow you to learn and leverage on others.

For example, you could outsource your work to the professionals and while learning from what they have written; or you could build your reputation as an expert by leaving comments on forums while reading and learning from what others have written.

2. Invest time and effort

The second quality you must be putting in consistent time and effort to grow your business. It is important to understand that your efforts will roll over. Article written months ago can still yield you customers today if effort has be put in to ensure quality information.

With the power of the internet, your efforts will be sustained 24/7, even when you are sleeping.

3. Determination

The third quality you'll need is determination. Determination measure the strength of your dreams and goals. How badly do you want your dream car and lifestyle? I choose to put into extra efforts into my business so that I shorten the amount of time required to achieve my goals. I am determined to achieve my goals because it is so big it involves others. I intend to earn enough for my parents to retire and bring them overseas for holidays.

4. Discipline

The fourth quality is self discipline. Draw out a time schedule to help you channel your time and efforts into your business. For example, you could choose to use 9-11p.m of every night to focus on different aspects of your business. It could be article marketing, blogging, sending out emails etc.

5. Optimism

The last quality you must have is optimism. Being optimist can help to keep you in the game, it maintains your passion and drive in this business. Set short goals and constantly check on it. Celebrate even over small successes, for example, when you see a new subscriber or your article hitting 100 hits.

You are the master of your own destiny and no one can overturn your boat except yourself.
