What Method Will You Use to Quit Smoking?

The best way to quit smoking is in fact the way that works toward your strengths.
You have probably tried things in the past and succeeded and failed at them, perhaps even with quitting smoking.
So the best thing to do is to look back on these past successes and failures and pick the right way for you to quit smoking.
These days there are many methods that you can use to quit smoking.
You can use patches, pills, smokeless cigarettes, cutting down, cold turkey, hypnosis.
The list is probably a lot larger than this but you must get the point.
So what you need to do is first of all decide on your tools that you will use to quit smoking.
Talk to others that have succeeded in quitting and see what they think was important.
I know that it took me a few tries to quit smoking and then one time it just stuck.
Sometimes quitting smoking is thanks to using aids like patches or pills, and sometimes it is the absence of these that will help you in fact quit.
The pills and patches are a crutch and as well all know a crutch will in fact help, the trouble is after you get off of crutches you need to strengthen your legs again to walk and run.
So is this in fact the best way? Do you think that in a month or so that you will be able to quit without a safety net or do you not want to have that help? In my experience I tried nicotine patches twice and both times I got off them and within a day or two I was smoking again.
I have lots of reasons to want to quit but they faded as the patches helped my wean myself off the nicotine.
Finally when I did quit smoking my quitting was simply the decision that I was not going to smoke again.
I went cold turkey and it worked.
I am sure that my story is not unique or the only way at all.
Everyone I have talked to about quitting smoking went through a slightly different journey than me but what I have found from everyone is that desire to never want to smoke again.
If you are at that point in your life then I urge you to take another shot.
Try again starting this next week to stop smoking forever and change your life.
