- 1). Number pieces of paper of the same size. Square pieces are easier to work with.
- 2). Find the center of each page with a ruler or by folding them in half and making a small crease and draw a small dot. This dot will help you locate your feet design on each animated page.
- 3). Plan your foot animation on a scrap piece of paper. Consider whether the feet be wearing shoes, run or walk across the page toward the reader and how many pairs of feet will be used.
- 4). Begin your foot animation drawing on the first page.
- 5). Draw the second drawing on Page 2, holding the first page over it with your fingers so you can easily flip back and forth. Use the dot in the center of your paper as a guide to better place your drawings. Experiment with how much the feet should move between each page.
- 6). Continue animating your feet on your next pages, flipping through the slides periodically to make sure everything lines up.
- 7). Create a title page and an ending page for your feet animation.
- 8). Clip together the paper in the middle of one edge with a binder clip or a clothes pin.
- 9). Show your children how to flip through the pages using their thumb, flipping the book open toward them.
- 1). Make a flip-book with dancing feet across the page. Use ballerina shoes and movements as inspiration.
- 2). Draw feet playing a ball game like soccer or doing an activity like jump rope.
- 3). Convey emotion with your feet that kids can identify. Make an angry person's foot stomp, an excited person jump for joy or a nervous person fidgety.
- 4). Have your feet take a trip. Walk them through silly places like a jungle or your kids' bedrooms.
