Utopia-Aire Pte Ltd is a member of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). The Singapore Manufacturers' Association was founded in the year 1932. It changed its name to Singapore Confederation of Industries in the year 1996 and later changed its name again to the Singapore Manufacturing Federation in the year 2003. The Singapore Manufacturing Federation consists of ten industry groups and five centers of excellence.

The ten industry groups are Automation Technology, Building Products and Construction Materials, Electrical, Electronics and Allied Industries, Energy & Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Lifestyle, Medical Technology, Metal, Machinery and Engineering, and Packaging Council of Singapore. The five centers of excellence are SMF Center for Corporate Learning, GS1 Singapore Limited, SME Center @ SMF, SMF Institute of Higher Learning, SMF Standards Development Organization, and Singapore Innovation & Productivity Institute.

The vision of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation is to become a national federation that is recognized internationally with members coming from the manufacturing industries in Singapore. It aims to provide both value and services to its members as well as to the manufacturing companies in Singapore. Its mission is to be the voice of the manufacturing companies in Singapore so that their interests are taken care of. At the same time, it drives to achieve a level of performance that is able to compete with other countries and an attainable growth rate that can be maintained.

Utopia offers an airborne bacterial sampler that can be transported around easily. It comes with a versatile carry case that allows it to be stored and carried around properly and safely. The unit can be deployed quickly to sample the airborne bacteria in any location by mounting it on a sturdy and stable tripod and leaving it in the area for collection. The main characteristics of the airborne bacterial sampler are a collection container that has a large area for collecting sufficient bacteria, efficient and effective collection, and a disposable holder that is sterilized.

Utopia airborne bacterial sampler employs the membrane filtration technique to test the airborne bacteria.The membrane filtration technique makes use of a thin filter that is able to retain the required bacteria but at the same time, enables water to go through the filter. The bacteria are collected at the surface of the filter which is then transferred to a petri dish for preparation for analysis.The MicroCheckII is a disposable filter funnel that is used in the unit to sample the airborne bacteria and increase the accuracy of the test results. Some applications where the airborne bacterial samplers have been used are the maintenance/management of bio-clean facilities, animal testing facilities, hospitals, germ free facilities, food industries, and quality management of medicine industry.
