The basic question we are trying to answer is "Why We Need Insurance"? When you are young, it is your parents and/or guardians that make sure you are well cared for and that any mishaps or accidents are attended to quickly.
As you reach the age of 18, your parents have relinquished their responsibility to you as a responsible adult to take care of yourself and those around you.
Insurance is a tried and true method of protecting yourself and your loved ones assets in the event an unforeseen accident or illness occurs.
The foundation of our society relies on the insurance model to protect ourselves, our families and others in case of an accident or mishap.
Here are 3 reasons why you need insurance:
- Eventually, an asset will be damaged due to fire, flood or other catastrophic event.
It is not id but more when it will happen and the level of your coverage will determine how you will be able to recover. - Your family will always need protection for the eventual broken bone or hospital stay.
Health insurance is there to provide the needed funds to pay for the costs of these stays and needed care.
Physician care is needed to help diagnose and resolve the issue and can be quite expensive.
Technology and medication have become a commodity that cannot be accessed without the financial means to pay for them. - Our society is becoming a disparate 2 class system like the Rockefellers and Smiths.
Once class who can afford the healthcare for a more sustainable quality of life and the other who will succumb to the most basic disease because they lack the necessary funds to resolve the issue.
They do without certain privileges and run the risk of causing greater harm to themselves and their loved ones by deferring proper care and medication.
In summary, we need insurance protection for all people at some level.
If we cannot figure out a way to manage our ability to provide fundamental service and support to those in need, our society of "Have and Have Not's" will eventually become the norm and cause an even wider gap in society.
