Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Built in 1799, the Hawa Mahal is another tourist attraction in the city of Jaipur. This palace is popular in India by the name of Hawa Mahal only but some other names being used to describe this palace are Palace of Winds and Palace of the Breeze. This beautiful palace was built using red and pink stone and this is the one aspect for which it is highly popular. Jal Mahal, Jaipur

Another palace in Rajasthan named after natural element is Jal Mahal. The reason behind naming this palace as Jal Mahal is it is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Like Hawa Mahal, this palace was also renovated lately and travelers can get to see many new things here. Along with the palace, several changes have been made to the lake as well that include diversion of drains, increase in the depth, and development of water drainage system.
