City Palace in Jaipur
The city palace complex in Jaipur is one of those places that travelers must visit upon reaching Jaipur. This palace includes two palaces called Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Since this palace is located in the middle of Jaipur city, travelers can book a room in Jaipur hotels and save traveling time to great extent. Entry to the palace is open from Monday to Sunday between 10 AM to 5 PM and one needs to buy a ticket to enter here.
Hawa Mahal, Jaipur
Built in 1799, the Hawa Mahal is another tourist attraction in the city of Jaipur. This palace is popular in India by the name of Hawa Mahal only but some other names being used to describe this palace are Palace of Winds and Palace of the Breeze. This beautiful palace was built using red and pink stone and this is the one aspect for which it is highly popular. Another striking feature of Hawa Mahal is beehive like structure with 953 small windows.
Jal Mahal, Jaipur
Another palace in Rajasthan named after natural element is Jal Mahal. The reason behind naming this palace as Jal Mahal is it is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Like Hawa Mahal, this palace was also renovated lately and travelers can get to see many new things here. Along with the palace, several changes have been made to the lake as well that include diversion of drains, increase in the depth, and development of water drainage system.
