Many of us want more money, and many of us have decided to do something about it.
But what if your current plan is not the easiest and most effective way to make more money? What if there really is a better way to generate more income? Even more significant, what if you could not only make more money, but also actually build wealth and secure your retirement working just as hard as you do now? So many of us become enchanted with an idea or concept, and we lose sight of the original objective.
We become so engrossed in doing "it" and making "it" successful, and that commitment becomes all consuming.
We then become disconnected with the only reason "it" was ever created...
to generate more income.
Unfortunately, I have seen many occasions when a person becomes so committed to "it," that they actually pour all of their money into it, trying desperately to make it work.
As you can clearly see, this is counter-productive and completely contrary to the original intent.
If you are pursuing additional income, then you obviously want more and recognize that pursuing a different endeavor - possibly even owning your own business - is a great way to accomplish your goals.
But is the plan that you have decided to execute the best way? You may enjoy your current business or endeavor, but if you are not making any money, how long before you decide to try something else? Ask yourself, is it working? Take a look at what you are doing and see if it is costing you money or making you money.
Certainly there is always "ramp-up" and "start-up" time with many businesses, but if you look forward ten or twenty years, does it give you what you want? If not, or if there is doubt, you might consider looking at something else.
