You know it really amazes me at all the rubbish that is being passed around the Internet
Today. I know some of you are saying "What cave did this guy walk out of". But serious folks,
There are so many scams that avoid that label simply because of their earning's disclaimer that its make a person want shot the next Email Ad that pops up.
I've been in the Business for a lot of years, started in the Marketing end and have been in the Consulting
Business for the past several years. I cant tell you how many earnest people have asked me about this Home Based Business or that Home Based Business only to have their dreams of getting rich over night shot
Down before them.
Maybe I come from the old school or a different kind of breed where I did not lie to my customers to make a sale. I did not hype up a product or candy coat it to make a sale. Why? Because I wanted to have that customer know that He or she could trust me and stay a customer for the long term.
As far as the people that have asked advice as to the promise of riches with a certain Business, well regretfully some walked away mad at me. Why do I regret it, because I hate to see any person waste their hard earned money on a false promise. Now to the ones that did not walkout I had the pleasure of guiding them into Businesses that were for real. Not get rich schemes, but real businesses that if you work them
They will provide you with an awesome income stream.
I have had the pleasure of taken some of those same people and mentor them on how to set up more than one income stream and have seen a number of people retire in 10 to fifteen years ( a few in less time).
That brings me to the point of those Ads that make the Claim "I became a Millionaire in a few short weeks and retired". Well buddy if your retired why are you trying to sell me something?
Today may be a dog eat dog world yet there are honest people still around, who sell products and programs that are worth there money. But you need to do some research or hire someone in the field who cares about you not their own pocket. I know programs that have a product line that only cost $3.99 and some that go for as $10,000 and up. The key is not how much you make on each sale - the key is how many sales on that product can you make.
Take for example One person starts a business which cost them $10,000 to purchase the product - now the cost of advertising and all that happy stuff gets thrown in. Right off the bat their prospective customer base is limited because of the product cost so they are able to make 10 sales in the first six months. Hey not bad you say, they made $100,000 in the first six months. Ok, but then they deduct the Ad cost, the initial cost of the product so lets say they spend $25,000 to achieve the goal of $100,000. So he nets $75,000.
Now the other guys well his product cost him $3.99. First off his customer base is way larger than the other guys. He purchases a cheap website or say he even went out and bought a good website like El inexpensive Web sites.
So now he has spent roughly $400, then he know that he can advertise in a smaller market because of the price of his product and for kickers he spend $40 per month on Yahoo and Google. Now in his first six month he is able to sell 20,000 of his product which bring him a gross of $100,000. Hey that's the same as the other guy, right except with a larger customer base his Marketing expenses are lower he only had to spend $740 to achieve his goal so he nets a little over $99,000
So here we see that the price of the product does not declare how much profit you will make selling to product, the key is to find a quality product that is hot, it in the niches of things moving. Then to make sure you have what it tales to sell and patience to wait. The longer you can prove yourself as a worthy Business owner who sells quality products, is honest and up front even enough to say "Ouch I should not have bought that" and eat the loss the better off you will be. People still want trustworthy Businesses who stand behind their products.
And friends there are some very trust worthy Home Based Businesses out there. Just do your Home work, check what's hot in the Market. Go to Google and punch in what your looking for, like hot Home Business, or top rated home business. Also check out websites that give honest review (not promoting the product) on Home Businesses, Affiliate programs and products.
Can you make real money on the internet? Yes you can, take it from some body who has made a good living at it. But you need to be wise with your money.
Can you really get rich over night?
Come on people, Wake up to the real world.
