Designed to resemble an old-time passenger train, the dining environment includes oak table furniture and old photographs on the walls of the dining room. Some of the murder mystery plays performed at The Mystery Train include "The Art of Murder," "Terror on the Toyland Express" and "Ghost Train." Containing a 1,566-seat auditorium along with a dance salon and a cigar store, the Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse is located in the Midwest city of Rock Island, Illinois. Undergoing a $225,000 renovation in 2001, this dinner theater also serves a full buffet every night. The evening buffet selection consists of carved roast pork, redskin mashed potatoes, cocktail meatballs, roast pork and corn cobettes. When guests watch the afternoon matinee performance, they can order roasted chicken platters and have the plates served at their tables.
