As an eczema sufferer, you know how painful and uncomfortable this skin disorder can be.
Just trying to do your daily chores can be a problem, and the flare ups can be terrible, leaving you unable to touch anything until it recedes.
Perhaps you have tried some prescription medicines without much results? That is why you have to start checking natural remedies for eczema, that can really help you.
Many people like you that have suffered from this, have found relief in natural treatments.
There are a number of solutions you can use, and Aloe Vera is one of the most efficient ones, you just have to learn to use it properly to maximize the results.
Let me show you what I do: 1.
Use Natural Soaps to avoid Flare ups
Commercial soaps are full of lotions and chemicals that irritate your skin.
You have to remove them completely from your bathroom to make sure you do not use anything that can cause a flare up There are a number of natural soaps that you can use that are more gentle on your skin.
2.
Clean Properly
Cleaning is important for eczema sufferers, but since your skin is delicate, you have to do it properly.
A basic preparation of comfrey root, slippery elm bark and white oak bark make an excellent cleanser; you can make at home.
Add one spoon of each with 2 cups of water.
Let it boil for 30 minutes and then remove any solids.
Apply like a normal cleanser.
3.
Apply Aloe Vera
If you can get the plant, apply the resin directly on the affected area.
If you can only find it as a commercial product, make sure it is pure and has no added chemicals.
The resin will make a thin layer on your skin.
You can leave it until it is absorbed completely or remove it again with a little natural cleanser as mentioned in point 2.
If you can get the plant, boil them and remove the resin, which you can then refrigerate and apply whenever you need it.
4.
Make sure you are not allergic
Although rare, there are people that are allergic to this plant.
If you are allergic to garlic or onions, there is a chance your are allergic to aloe vera too.
Apply to a small patch of your skin and see how you react, before applying to all your skin.
