Desert Eco Building Project: - As a volunteer in this project you will have the unique opportunity to live and work in a desert eco village where sustainable materials and mud has been used for making this resort. Volunteers assist in the construction and maintenance of the eco village whereby they make eco-friendly biodegradable homes along with the help of local people.
Volunteer in a Desert Wildlife Reserve: - The mission of Wildlife Reserve is to establish reproduction groups for populations of endangered desert animals and different wild animals that have disappeared from the landscape. Volunteers join the Wildlife reserve staff with the ongoing conservation and animal care work. Volunteer Duties generally include the following:-
I. Preparing food and feeding animals
II. Cleaning and maintaining reserve facilities
III. Observations and data collection
IV. Accompanying & assisting park rangers
V. Constructing enrichment facilities
Summer Volunteer Program , Israel: - Volunteers working in this project work in a 2 week Summer Camp organized by the Israel Association of Community Centers whose mission is to advance the quality of life of people is the most diverse communities such as Maghar. As a volunteer in this project you will have the opportunity to work alongside the Community Center in the diverse town of Maghar and assist with its annual summer camp for Druze, Christian and Muslim children. The themes of the camp are the principles of coexistence, arts, sports and ecology in English.
