Maintaining good health is a process of doing little things that all add together.
One of those things is to assure correct body alignment, especially as we sleep.
Traditional pillows don't do this very well.
However, a buckwheat pillow is very good for keeping the body aligned.
When laying down, the body is not flat.
Even if you are lying on your stomach or back, your spine still has to curve.
The best way to sleep is a way that maintains the natural curve of the spine, without putting your head at an angle.
A buckwheat pillow helps with this.
Due to the way the buckwheat hulls fit together, they provide just the right amount of support for you head and neck.
This reduces strain on the muscles of your neck and shoulders.
A buckwheat pillow may be especially helpful for those recovering from an injury.
If you need to remain in one position for a long period of time, like if you are unable to move around easily, it is very easy to strain your neck.
If you can move easily, you can just move if you get uncomfortable.
However, if that's not an option, then a good pillow that supports the head without you having to punch and pull it into position will help tremendously.
A buckwheat pillow is that pillow.
You can push the hulls around to you find what feels the most supportive, and they will stay that way until you move them again.
When sleeping, it is best to have your spine in a single plane.
Not necessarily in a perfectly straight line, because there is natural curve, but with as little odd angles as possible.
A sagging mattress or a pillow that props your head up too much can lead to muscle tension and poor sleep.
However, a buckwheat pillow is a great support pillow that does help to align your spine.
This means better, and more comfortable, sleep whether you just need to be fresh for the next day or you need to remain in one position for some time.
So consider a buckwheat pillow for better sleep.
