Drawing the Images of animals, especially Dogs, Is fun and very rewarding.
Learn this trick.
I like to use a method called pyrography, Pyrography is the art of putting images on wood by burning them on.
Pyrography has been around for centuries You can make your own laser pen or you can buy one.
I personally like to use a soldering gun, or soldering pencil, if you will.
Dogs are my passion so I usually draw dogs, or something to do with dogs.
I took a very large desk drawer and cut a square hole out of it, while keeping in mind to keep the square hole centered and even.
then I placed a window glass over the square hole and glued just the edges so as to have a glass window in the once large drawer.
Next I Rigged a light fixture on the inside,so you could turn the drawer upside down and lay your picture or whatever image you want to burn to wood.
Personally I like photos of Dogs.
Using the tracer light you can now copy anything.
Lay the photo on the glass place a paper on top of the photo and place all of it squarely on the glass.
Now turn the light on and trace out your copy of the photo.
Now you have an expendable copy of the photo.
Now you can take that copy you made and, lay it over the wood you picked out to burn your picture on.
Lay it out exactly where you want it and secure it so it wont move around.
But first, and this step is very important, insert a piece of carbon paper under the copy of the Dog photo you made, now draw or trace out the lines of the copy of the Dog photo you made.
Now remove all that from the wood and start burning the lines on the wood that the carbon paper left.
