Bill and Susy - We found this campground on the Florida State Park list and ReserveUSA.com, and we tent camped there in June 2004.

Campground Review

We arrived in a driving rainstorm, and we were worried that we'd end up with large puddles in our assigned campsite. Between two downpours, we put our Chalet style camper up. Within an hour of the end of the storms, our site was damp, but not a puddle in sight.

The sandy soil drains quickly, which is a definite plus when camping in Florida. The restrooms are wonderfully clean, and there is plenty of hot water for showers.
