Only eight you say? Trust me, there are far more than eight, I just felt the need to narrow it down a bit and picked out the eight that have mattered most to me.
These are in no particular order.
The point in getting these reasons down and out into the general public is to get people to start thinking, and taking control over their current reality and future, and ACTING on their own behalf instead of waiting and re-acting.
So with that said, let's check out what these reasons are:

• Your time becomes yours again.
  Remember when you were younger, and every morning you bounded out of bed excited to take on the new day? Then you started working the traditional job and lost that feeling.
  Well, you get to have it back when your time becomes yours again.
  

You decide when you work.
If you're a night owl and want to work at 2am updating your website, your blog, or visit social sites, you can.
If you want to take the day off to do something with family, or to take care of appointments, you don't have to ask permission and wait for approval, hopefully with pay, from the HR department.
HOW you spend your time becomes your responsibility.
Your commute time goes from half an hour or more to thirty seconds flat.
Suddenly you have more hours in your day.
This could mean more time to work on YOUR business, if you choose.

• Tax advantages.
  Not many people understand the benefit of the tax deductions a home based business allows.
  Obviously, with the IRS it can be quite confusing as to what can and cannot be deducted, but it's enough to be a major benefit.
  The possibility of deductions range from internet and phone access, to partial house payments.
  Please consult with your accountant for more information.
  

• There is no glass ceiling.
  You are the one who will determine your income.
  This can go both ways, so be careful.
  However, the good news is, you are the one who will be able to decide when enough income is enough.
  No raises to wait for, no 401K to lose, no retirement to work towards only to not be able to afford to retire.
  You determine your success.
  

• Stability.
  This goes hand in hand with number three.
  There are no layoffs when you own your own home based business.
  No unexpected company closures, no unknown CEO, COO, CFO, or whomever embezzling from the company's till only to leave the rest of the company high and dry.
  You create the business, you create the stability, and you create your success.
  

• Dress how you choose.
  So, you say your employer doesn't like you coming in wearing your flannel pajamas? When you work from home, it doesn't matter.
  Want to wear your favorite clown outfit? Go for it.
  Think of the time, money, and stress you safe when you don't have to invest in a large, expensive wardrobe.
  No more dry cleaning charges, or worrying about what shoes will go with what suit or outfit.
  

• No various other expenses that come along with working out of the home.
  For example, daycare costs (OUCH!), going out to lunch or making sure you have lunch at work, gas costs, higher maintenance vehicle costs, and more.
  These can add up enough that one really wonders, "what AM I working for and what really IS my take home pay after all of these expenses?"

• Life is calmer.
  No rushing around getting yourself coffee, dropping kids off at schools, daycares, so you can be at work at a certain time, only to rush from work to pick up kids, go grocery shopping, get dinner ready, and into bed only to start the next day in exactly the same manner.
  Life is calmer.
  There is time to breathe and enjoy each other.
  

• This one is specific for the Network Marketing industry.
  You are able to work with some of the most amazing people.
  Network Marketing allows us the opportunity to work with people who are looking for, generally, the same things out of life as you.
  A joy filled, abundant life that gives us the opportunity for growth, love, giving back.
  It's how we succeed in this industry.
  We are truly of the mindset, 'we will succeed when we help others succeed.
  ' What a GREAT outlook on business and life, don't you think?

To give you an idea of what it's like to work from home, an example of my day is this.
I wake up around 6:15am, throw on my robe, casually make coffee, and sit down to my computer and my business.
There's no sense of rushing around, trying to get everyone, including myself, ready.
The morning is calm, as it should be.
When the time comes, I take my oldest son to school and take my youngest one with me to the gym so I can get a workout in.
No daycare or daycare expenses for this family, and trust me, in this day and age that is a lot of money.
When my workout is finished, I might do a number of things, grocery shopping, meet with friends, work more on the business, whatever is needed for that day.
In the evening, I make dinner, again without feeling rushed, help my son with his homework, read to the kids, get them to bed, and then I'm able to work more on my business.
Did I also mention that I am a single mom? My life has never been better, since I started working from home.
