How to Remove Hard Earwax

    • 1). Mix a solution of hydrogen peroxide, water and vinegar. The solution should be two parts peroxide, one part water and one part vinegar. Warm the mixture to body temperature.

    • 2). Use the eyedropper to apply one to two drops of the solution to each ear twice a day for four days. This will help to soften the earwax.

    • 3). Straighten your ear canal by tilting your head slightly to one side and pulling your outer ear up and back. Use the rubber bulb syringe to gently squirt warm water into your ear canal.

    • 4). Tilt your head to the opposite side to allow the water and earwax to flow from your ear. You may require several irrigation treatments before the wax is soft enough to drain out of your ear.

    • 5). Dry your outer ear with a towel or a hair dryer set on the low, cool setting.
