What about Mattie? Full name is "Thomas" Mattie, however "he" started out as a "she" or so we thought! Guess the Vet did too, because he did not discover that "Maddie" short for Madelynn, was really a boy until he had started the spaying process. Yes, my poor "Maddie" ended up with TWO scars that day. Of note, the Vet said that he would not "charge" me for the faux spaying, only the neutering. "What a guy!" Thanks Doc.
Now, three years later, Mattie is an easy going, lovable "ham" who provides lots of photo opportunities for my scrapbooking!

I plan to enter this photo, along with the scrap book page (of course) in the next Scrap booking contest, titled "Santa Paws". I know, not exactly original...but have you taken a look at his furry "mitts"? Fur on both sides! Mattie IS a typical Maine Coon!
