1. WOLF DEN / KITSMILLER RIDING AREA
Operated by the Wolf Den Riding Club, this area offers approximately 3000 acres that are open to bikes, ATVs and UTVs throughout the season. With either a $20 day use fee, or a $150 annual fee, one gets access to the entire area, which also includes many events and races held throughout the year.
The terrain here ranges from easy to difficult, and offers tight woods trails, scenic views, a motocross track and steep hill climbs.
Riding is available throughout the week with an appointment, and on weekends the area is open Friday - Sunday from 8am - 5pm.
Primitve camping is allowed on the property, however cell phone service is practically non-existant.

2. POTOMAC RIVER TRAIL SYSTEM
This is a smaller riding area compared to some, but it still offers almost ten miles of dirt and gravel logging roads for beginner or novice riders. The area here is scenic and there are also hiking trails that wind through the forests.
Permits are required to ride here, as is a spark arrestor and there is also a noise level limit of 84dB.

3. MEADOW MOUNTAIN TRAIL SYSTEM
This seasonal trail is open from March through December, and offers approximately 7 miles of OHV permitted trails. There are plenty of non-motorized trails here as well, so it is important to do some research and learn which trails allow OHV access and which do not.
Camping is allowed here, and there are plenty of primitive camping areas scattered throughout this trail area. New Germany State Park is also close by, and offers many more camping choices, including cabin rentals, boating and swimming.
A spark arrestor is required on all vehicles, and there is an 84dB sound limit here as well.

4. GARRETT STATE FOREST
Garrett State Forest offers a number of different ORV/OHV trails to enjoy, including the Piney Mountain and Snaggy Mountain trails, which are open to two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles all season, and snowmobiles from December through March.
Trails here tend to be on the easy to novice side, but offer beautiful scenery and a chance to ride in the great outdoors.
Proper permits and registration are required to ride here, as are spark arrestors.

5. WICOMICO MOTORSPORTS PARK
The Wicomico Motorsports Park offers over 300 acres of riding area, mostly taken up by a 10 acre motocross track. There are several miles of surrounding ATV trails here as well, and this park is open all year around on weekends and extended holidays.
There are a number of events and races held here throughout each year, as well as non-moto related events. The park can also be rented out for events.
There is camping available here, including some spots with limited power hookups, and new shaded sites have also been added.
Motorcycles and ATVs are allowed here but UTVs are not.
