Are You Like The Titanic? Speeding Towards An Iceberg To Your Doom

Everyone has credit cards.
They help make life a bit easier.
Most people start out using them as a safety net.
But...
there is danger in those little plastic life preservers.
I'm sure this will sound familiar to you.
You go to the store to buy something.
Let's say...
the DVD of your favorite movie.
When you get in the store you notice sale signs everywhere.
Before you get the DVD you came in for, you start to browse through the sale racks.
You come across a few movies you were thinking about buying.
"Well, they're on sale" you think to yourself.
Before long you, have a stack of DVDs and you haven't even gotten the one you originally went to the store to buy.
You dash to the section with your DVD, grab it and go to the register.
The clerk rings you up andto your surpriseyou have just spent more than $217.
You weren't planning on buying so much and you don't have enough cash so...
instead of putting the DVDs back you whip out your credit card and hand it to the clerk.
It's only $217.
No big deal, right? But, it really is a big deal.
Because, the DVD's are only the tip of the iceberg...
it's not just DVDs you buy with your credit cards, it's everything you buy with your credit cards.
Paying With A Credit Card Doesn't Feel Like You Are Spending Your Money When you pay with a credit card, you feel like you got something without paying for it...
almost like it was free.
You probably don't even think about it until...
Your credit card bills arrive.
Then it registers.
When you have to pay the bill.
You get a sinking feeling.
You realize you can't pay the whole bill this month.
And so begins your downward spiral...
Because, the following month you do the same thing.
You go to the store to buy something and out pops that little plastic card again.
Even though last month's credit card bill surprised you and you couldn't pay it off in full, you think to yourself "I've got it under control".
Until one day, you get to the register and your credit card is declined.
You have reached your spending limit...
at least on that credit card.
Ah, but never fear, you have other credit cards.
So you keep getting deeper and deeper into debt.
Pretty soon you are so deep...
you can barely keep your head above water.
Your monthly payments are getting out of reach.
And now you need to use your credit cards just to pay your everyday bills.
Things like groceries, heat and electric.
But as you pay for these necessities, you get deeper still.
Now, you're even deeper than before.
You need to put even more on the cards.
Your payments continue to grow until, you can't even afford the minimum monthly payments.
Before you know it you can't buy the things you need and you are drowning in bills.
Ok, maybe it's not that bad...
yet.
But is this the direction your heading? If you answered yes, you need to do something about it, RIGHT NOW! Don't wait until your debt sinks you.
