In other areas the concentration was very low.
The contaminants are released into the ocean and the birds which come to the ocean to feed their young also carry the contaminants.
So, even the remotest area on Earth is at risk of global warming and environment pollution.
This scenario has been explained by the scientists as "guano factor".
However, the main source of pollution is still from human beings, since most of the chemical residuals from industrial processes are released into the sea.
Parts of the ocean remain contaminated.
Usually they can travel up to the Arctic sea as well.
The birds looking for food are only carrying the pollutants from the sea to the land.
The birds cannot find these pollutants, if not for the pollution in the sea.
Though the sea birds are indirectly responsible, the pollution is created by humans.
