Just like any other sofa, you will have to clean your convertible sofas once or twice every month; especially at those homes where there are little kids or pets.
No matter how much you adore your pets or kids you do would not want dog or cat hair on your sofa or your kids spilling and sticking things on them.
However, you cannot stop them every time, what you can do is to clean it properly so that they there are no stains or hair on them.
Another threat to your sofa is bugs which can cause humans itching and swelling problems on their skins.
  These bugs usually live in dark and cozy places and that is why they find sofas their perfect homes.
For food they victimize humans who frequently used sofas to sit and lay down for relaxation and feed their blood to these bugs.
You can never tell when your sofa is infected by these bugs because they are very tiny and no matter how much you kill them there will still be hundreds of them left.
To save your convertible sofas from getting dirty by your pets or kids, you can cover them with a cloth so that your sofa does not get stained instead the cloth will get stained.
Then when your guests arrive, you can hide the cloth and offer them your beautiful sofa for sitting and relaxing.
If this trick does not work for you and you still find your sofas dirty, then there is a separate procedure to wash and dry clean them.

The easiest and simplest way to clean your sofas properly is to clean them with hot water and washing powder and then left them in sunlight for natural dry.
This trick can also be applied to those sofas which are infected with bugs.
The sunlight will kill them all as they cannot survive in sunlight and heat.
Once your sofas are completely dry you can bring them inside your home but make sure there is no moisture left inside them as it will be able to create more pests.
       Regularly vacuum your convertible sofas before sitting or laying down on them, to make them dust free.
If you did not do that than your sofas will get stained and will lose their shine.
So it is better that you take care of your sofas a lot because they are an important part of furniture at your home.
As compared to the fabric upholstery; sofas with leather upholstery are much easier to clean as they can be easily wiped with a wet washcloth to remove spills etc.
and they also require less cleaning periodically.
