There are literally thousands of internet money making ideas out there.
Or so some would like you to believe, but the fact is that many, perhaps even the majority are scams or really do not make very much money at all.
In this article I'm going to explain 3 very common ideas on how to make money and break down the plus and negatives as well as give my own recommendations.
Internet Money Making Ideas - #1 The simplest and least involved way is through your content based website.
By content based I mean it was or is not created for the purpose of making money.
All it involves is a website created for a purpose such as exotic cars or expressing your views on politics.
It can really be anything.
On this site you just put in contextual ads such as AdSense.
You generally will make around $0.
25-$0.
50 per click on any of the ads.
The system will tailor the ads to your site.
The pros of this system is it does not involve any type of actual marketing.
You don't have to try to get people to buy anything and it is the easiest to setup.
The con is it does not offer much revenue unless your website has a very high traffic flow.
Internet Money Making Ideas - #2 Secondly is MLM or Multi Level Marketing.
It has very close ties to a pyramid of sort.
You do have to market something and you essentially work for yourself, but under someone.
In basic explanation, one person starts marketing, then they sponsor one or two or however many people that they must teach how to market the same thing.
Those one or two then eventually sponsor people under them and so on.
So you do earn your own money, the person who sponsored you also gets credit for your success and earns more money.
That is why it is seen so closely to a pyramid scheme, but with MLM product actually does move.
The pro for this one is it does have potential to earn some good money, but as a con it is probably the most work and can be considered a full time job.
Internet Money Making Ideas - #3 Lastly is affiliate marketing or internet marketing.
In that you market a digital product such as an e-book or software and earn commission based on sales.
You don't hold stock or deal with transactions, you simply market it and direct the buyer to the merchant.
This is the system I recommend to everyone due to several factors.
One being it is easier than MLM and you do not have to work under or over anyone as well as you can earn money on auto pilot.
That is, setup website, start getting some traffic and not have to actively pursue individuals.
It also offers as much if not more potential as the commissions can be upwards of $100 per sale with $30-50 very common.
The only con is it can be frustrating to step into if you do not have a plan or knowledge, but I can help you with that.
