Hi, my name is Brian. I'm a web and graphic specialist and today I'm going to show you how to make a picture into a URL on Tumblr. Okay so I'm going to go to my blog here on Tumblr and then click on the dashboard and I'm going to create a new text post, okay. I'm going to give that text post a title of My Picture, alright and now I'm going to upload a photo and then place it into this new post. Let's just find a good photo, here we go. Okay now within that photo let's say I just want to turn this photo into a link. In order to do that I'm going to click on the photo and then click on the little link button, the chain link and then your insert edit link pop up should come on screen and I'm going to add my link URL, let's just link it to Wikipedia and then I'll set the target to open link in a new window and then insert and then I will hit the create post button. And now if I look at my blog, I will have this post this image and I should be able to click on this image and open up Wikipedia. So that's how you do it.
