Founded in 1897 during the Klondike Gold Rush, Skagway, Alaska, is a town near the state's border with British Columbia. Because a variety of cruise lines--including Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess and Royal Caribbean--service the area, the town is a well-known tourist spot offering a full day of activities including horseback riding and museum tours. You can also stop at several local watering holes for dinner and drinks. - The Bonanza Bar and Grill in the Westmark Inn Skagway offers daily food and drink specials as well as weekly entertainment. The hotel and restaurant are open mid-May through mid-September for summer guests.

The restaurant is open daily April through October.
