3 Easy Steps to Quickly Clean Your Hard Floors

Many of us struggle to quickly care for our hard floors.
Weather you have tile, wood, laminate.
marble or polished concrete in your residence we are going to quickly guide you on how to clean them quickly.
We do this daily in our business and will share with you how our crew gets this task done efficiently and quickly.
Before we get into details you must have the basic equipment to get this job done.
However, we are going to make this simple and you probably already have some or all of the required equipment.
The first piece of equipment you will need is a vacuum cleaner.
Yes, a vacuum cleaner.
We know, to many this will sound out of place but there is no better way to remove dirt and dust from floors than using a vacuum cleaner.
The second piece of equipment you will need is a flat head mop.
You can purchase these mops from your local hardware store, Target or Wal-Mart.
Feel free to do a search in your favorite search engine for the word "Sh-mop".
You will quickly discover many samples of flat head mops.
Here are the last items you will need to get ready to start your project.
Depending on the size of the area you will need 2 or 3 replaceable heads for your mop for every 100 square feet of floor.
You will also need a bucket and your favorite floor cleaning solution.
Now, here's the moment you are waiting for.
The moment we share with you how to quickly and efficiently clean your floors.
The first step is to to quickly vacuum your floor.
We recommend using a portable backpack vacuum.
These vacuums are easy to maneuver and typically they come with 20 to 30 feet of power cable.
The long power cable enables you to cover a large area without having to disconnect the power.
Having to stop the vacuum to move cable to a different power outlet delays your work.
Make sure to vacuum in long strides going forward to the end of the room and coming back always on the right side of the previously vacuumed area.
This procedure will allow to vacuum entire area without having to double vacuum any given area.
Avoid walking over area you have previously vacuumed.
Once floor is fully vacuumed, the next step is to mop floor.
This step requires you to have your flat head mop ready to go.
This mop allows you to work quickly and efficiently.
Start with a bucket of your favorite floor cleaning solution.
We recommend using a 1 step cleaning solution that's PH neutral.
These solutions are the most efficient due to their cleaning power and quick drying time.
In addition, because of the PH neutral they do not leave a residue on the floor.
You will not experienced any white streaks or white residue on the floor once the product dries.
Place the mop heads in the bucket with the solution.
Take a mop head and squeeze it until damp.
Place the head on the mop and start the process of mopping.
Use the same method to mop as you did with the vacuum.
Once the mop head is dirty simply remove it and replace it with a fresh one from the bucket.
Notice that we don't place the used mop head back in the water.
We simply replace and continue.
This will allow you to mop an entire house with just 1 gallon of cleaning solution.
Granted, depending on your area you might need more than 3 mop heads to finish the job.
Dirty mop heads are simply washed in the washing machine and they will be ready for your next cleaning.
Once floor is dry you can proceed to final step.
Using a clean and dry mop head repeat the process in step two.
However, because this time you are using a dry mop head in essence you are buffing the floor.
This will add the final touch and expose the natural shine and finish of your hard floors.
That's it! You are now ready to clean floors like the Pros do!
