Canvas art prints are a beautiful product, once they are displayed in your wall space, their strong presence is very effctive indeed. But, how do they end up looking so stunning as wall art? I am here to tell you the process behind producing Photoshop files for making effective canvas art. I will detail a brief guide of some steps required during this process, in part two of this guide, I will write some more tips to help you acquire some great canvas art prints.
The first step is for you to create a new document in Photoshop, you should set the sizes to exactly what size canvas print you intend to create. Don't forget to set the resolution and the color mode to meet the requirement of your printer settings. You should also contact the manufacturer of your printer for the information you need to collaborate your printer with your computer.
This is document is now the face of your canvas, you need to enlarge your image to the same dimensions as this before you start to position the image within this area. A point to ake here is that it will be pixelated if you do not sustain an equal resolution on your Photoshop document and your digital image.
Your image should now be dragged on to the other document, you can now use the scale tool to alter the image size to fit your canvas print face. Use the selector tool to move your photo around until it is positioned correctly, this will now the the main part of the image you will see on the face of your new canvas art print.
Now need to make a white border for the edges of your canvas art print. To achieve this you need to firstly crop the image, this will delete any excess that is disguised around the sides and off the document stage. Now you need adjust the canvas size to fit around your frames. You an additional amount of around twice the depth of your canvas art print frame, this will ensure you have enough canvas material tp strech your canvas print and create a neat piece of wall art.
