Good Cholesterol Levels - Discover the Two Types of Cholesterol

Good cholesterol levels are essential to great health.
Many young people do not worry about what they eat.
It has been shown that the beginnings of heart disease can begin as soon as your teen years, so it is important to teach your children how to eat right in the early years of life.
If you can develop good eating habits early in life, they will know how to eat well as adults.
Many people do not understand how to measure their cholesterol.
They think that all cholesterol is bad.
In reality, there are two types of cholesterol.
There is low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL).
You want your LDL levels to be as lower than 40, and you want your HDL levels to be higher than 60.
You want the total of these cholesterols to be less than 200.
If it is between 201 and 239, this is considered to be borderline high, and if it more than 240, it is considered to be too high.
Even though you want to keep your total cholesterol level lower than 200, you should strive to keep your LDL levels as low as possible.
This is the main indicator of your risks of developing heart disease.
People with levels of LDL higher than 100 are more than twice as likely to develop heart disease or other deadly illnesses.
Good cholesterol levels will help you maintain great health into the later years of your life.
Even though eating the right foods is important, it is also important to exercise regularly and take natural cholesterol supplements.
I recommend lowering your cholesterol with natural products instead of statin prescriptions which many people are taking today.
Statins have shown to cause cancer in lab tests, so I always recommend taking natural supplements that work with your body to help lower your cholesterol.
