How to Get Your Cat to Use the Litter Box Instead of Your Floor

One of the great things about cats is they are clean animals and they are are usually easy to litter train.
For most of these animals, using a litter box comes naturally or with only a little persuasion.
But with some felines, they just never develop the habit of using a litter box or only use it some of the time.
Many cat owners have found a simple solution to this aggravating problem.
When a cat uses the floor instead of the litter box, it can make a lovable creature seem like only a nuisance.
Over nine million cats have this problem and it is one of the top reasons for them being abused, sent to shelters or simple abandoned.
With the right training they could be welcomed into loving homes.
One great advantage to cats is they like to be clean.
They will naturally bury their waste and usually seek out the way areas with soft digging material so they can easily bury it.
For many cats in a home, a litter box full of easy to dig material is the most obvious place for them to go.
Many cats are also taught as a young kitten my their mother to use a litter box.
For these cats going in the litter box is all they know to do.
But there are some cats that just never got the message or just never learned where they are supposed to do their business.

This type of litter is blended with herbal scents that cats are attracted to.
For some cats, using this type of litter is immediately solving the problem.
Instead of avoiding the cat box they are now attracted to it and use it.
Using this type of litter works great for training old cats as well as young kittens.
