The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong Opens its door on March 29, 2011

I just return from my trip to Hong Kong helping the pre-opening of The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, the tallest hotel in the world. This hotel will be a favorite hotel in no time. Their facility is just stunning with a sky bar named "Ozone" at floor 118 of the 495 meters building, a pool at the floor 118 provides a view that you would die for (my friend said). Located in Kowloon, the hotel has 312 rooms. Rooms begin from floor 106, while their lobby located on floor 103, the highest lobby in the world.

All their restaurants located on floor 102 consist of Chinese restaurant (Tin Lung Heen), Italian restaurant (Tosca) and Lounge and bar. At the lobby level (103), the chocolate library provides a comfortable and spacious space for enjoying some selections of chocolate. And I believe you don't want to miss Ozone, their bar at floor 118 which gives you spectacular view of Hong Kong. 24 hours in Room dining is available for you who want to enjoy dining from the comfort of your room.

The room facility is another highlight of the new hotel. All rooms provide an unbeatable view and a telescope is available in suite room to see the close up of the city. Every room has their Nespresso coffee maker and electric kettle. The rain shower is so good makes me didn't want to finish showering. As most five star hotels have, their room is completed with bathroom TV so that you can watch TV while soaking yourself in bath tub.

ARRIVAL PROCESS

The hotel is located within the ICC building which is a luxury complex which includes Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, dining and shopping places and train station at the ground section of the building. For those of you choose to come with your own transportation, go with the airport express from airport to Kowloon, and then you arrive at the ICC building. You might need 5-10 minutes walk to the hotel. Their arrival lobby is at 9th floor, the guest relation will greet you and escort you to their check in lobby where the front desk will help you with the check in process. An escort to your room will be provided, but it might be challenging for them when the hotel is busy.

OTHER FACILITY

Their Fitness center and swimming pool is located at floor 118 while their spa provided by ESPA is at floor 116, next to it is the club lounge which is convenient for business traveler who wants to enjoy a spacious area and five times food presentation. Some pastry selections can be enjoyed at Pastry Gems at 9th floor. So, for business or leisure, this hotel is just the right choice for you.

GREAT EMPLOYEES

The hotel employees 30% from the previous The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong. They are naturally giving great service to guest and very engaging. The banquet staffs were amazing, they are very proactive in giving service and attentive. At least, that was my impression during the 8 days countdown and experiences their level of service. They hired great people that will give you great stay experience.
