Meet with the potential client and determine what the company does, how many employees the company has and the insurance needs to help you strengthen your business insurance skills. Also, it will make you look like you are interested in the company as a whole.
- 5). Seek a broad range of customers. Do not limit your sales to one type of business. Become well versed in many types of businesses. Try not to take rejection personally and use it to learn from.
- 6). Take continuing education classes that are business-related. Attend professional functions that offer business-related strategies. Ask other agents what they do to become a more skilled insurance sales person for businesses.
