Unique.
It's a funny word.
An overcooked adjective.
And one that's misused all the time.
But every now and again, we can use it knowing it's spot-on.
Take our mums, for example.
No two mums are exactly the same.
They're unique - we'll only ever have one of them and they're our very own.
So when Mother's Day rolls round, why not treat her to a fully personalised Mother's Day gift? We can't promise you it'll be unique - after all, there's always the slim possibility someone with the same name will be given the same present - but it'll certainly beat grabbing something off the shelf in Clintons.
One gift idea that always proves popular is personalised wine and Champagne.
As you'd expect, there's red, white and rosé wine to choose from, all of which are available in three different qualities.
What they all have in common is your ability to choose and then personalise the label with a name and a message.
And whereas the Champagne and cava only have the one quality on offer, the personalisation process is identical to the wines'.
What's more, if you're feeling particularly generous, there's also the option of either boxing the bottle, or buying an entire case of them.
Then, to really finish things off with a spot of panache, why not get some crystal wine glasses or Champagne flutes engraved with her name and a message? It's fancy stuff.
So what goes nicely with Mother's Day wine? Well, without wanting to sound like a Sky Sports commentator, chocolate's not a bad bet.
Much like the wine, you'll find there's the chance to personalise choccie, too.
In fact, there are two possibilities - the first is to personalise a box of five Belgian chocolates, the second is to pop your mum's name and a message onto a hefty bar of milk chocolate.
Sticking with food, a light-hearted alternative is to buy her a spoof food magazine cover.
As always, this can also be personalised with her name and, rather impressively, an uploaded photo.
For something a bit different to food and drink, a personalised calendar could be just the ticket.
Each of the 12 months features a different photo with the recipient's name skilfully immersed into the picture.
There are loads of styles to choose from, including 'Best Mum', cats, gardening and even 'All Things Pink'.
All of them are available in three sizes and you're even able to start the calendar from a month of your choice.
The two larger versions allow you to add a personal message to the cover, while in the largest of the three you can also insert 20 of your own important dates.
That way, mum's got no excuses for miss those important days.
