I live in the countryside and I try my best to help people who are moving to a village or to a farm.
I appreciate that if you've lived in a city or large town it can be difficult to adjust to the daily life of the countryside.
On top of this things can be very difficult and you'll often find that no ones told you about these things until you're in your new home and it's too late.
I write my articles to help inform you and prepare you for your move.
You may have read my earlier article which explained how you may need cesspit emptying or sewage disposal.
This article continues on from that and explains things you may wish to avoid and any helpful tips I've learnt along the way.
I hope you find the following article informative and useful.
As you may or may not know there is a leach field for all cesspit emptying.
It allows the tank to drain away clear liquids which have been filtered and this is then soaked into a small area of grass.
It's unwise to have any storage buildings or playgrounds in this area or directly over the tank.
This is for many reasons which include the fact the leach fields are often slightly boggy and therefore cannot hold sturdy building objects or playgrounds.
Although the liquids from the tank aren't going to cause you any major harm it's not advised to put yourself or your family at risk of contaminating yourself with the liquids.
If you build or store directly over the tank you can cause damage to it which will not only damage it but could break the tank which will lead to a lot of mess, hassle and money being spent to correct the problem.
They should always be professional installed and monitored as they can cause illness to people who contaminate themselves nearby.
Sewage disposal companies are reasonable priced so get their advice.
Excessive water levels entering the system will cause it to clog up and fail.
Make sure you're reasonable careful with your water wastage and always check your plumbing to make sure everythings in working order.
Don't forget that if you ever need extra advice you can always contact a sewage disposal company.
They will give you advice on cesspit emptying and anything you need to remember or take into consideration.
I hope this article helped.
