Everyone knows something about spiders. Many people are fans of spiders because they kill insects and are considered an essential link in the natural ecosystem. For a low-tech product, try buying some long stick glue traps and distribute them near suspected emtry points and in the areas you usually see spiders scuttling around. Just make sure they're safely out of the way of any children or inquisitive pets. Make sure to always clean up trash like cardboard boxes so spiders can't hide under them and always dispose of food waste promptly or it will attract insects, which then bring in spiders.

As a more high-tech spider control option, you should consider a electronic sonic insect repellent. These devices plug into your wall outlet and claim to provide sonic vibrations that are only audible to insects and resonate in the walls of your home, acting as a force field to deter any would-be bug entrants.
